This distance includes any of their equipment or active methods (so they cannot teleport their body three meters away from somebody with a spear at the ready to gore them from point blank, for example, or warp in five meters from someone with a twenty meter AoE up). The user cannot arrive within three meters of another character with the short-range version of this technique or within five meters with the long-range. The short-range version of this technique cannot be used to exit a thread. The user may only teleport to the interior of a village if they have visited it within the last OOC year, and it has not had to be re-upped since their previous visit. The extended range version may be used to bend to any point the has been to before in a thread (so backstory doesn't count). The short-range version can be used to warp to any point within twenty meters of the user. This technique has two usages - short range or long range. Teleporting others along with oneself incurs a cost of 50 AP per extra person, with a maximum of 3 people able to be teleported. The user also brings whoever they are touching (works through equipment such as armor or a sword) and them unless contact is broken before the teleportation finishes. Worn/held equipment is likewise teleported. Instant Transmissions Teleportation begins at the user's center of mass and works its way outwards at jutsu speed. What it does: Upon activation, the user can teleport themselves up to once per post by simply placing two fingers to their forehead, although if mastered, they don't need to perform this motion. As a result, the door is open for any of the major Z-fighters, even Yamcha, to learn these strange new techniques and earn a major power boost in the process.Handseals: Ox - Snake - Tiger - Ram - Rat - Ram Luffy from One Piece. Furthermore, the art of flying that so many characters have mastered is also achieved through Ki, and is likely another (basic) example of what the people of Yardrat dedicate their life to studying. In theory, the future of Dragon Ball could see Goku and Vegeta creating clones of themselves in battle, or expanding their fists in the style of Monkey D. The fact that Instant Transmission is just one possible usage of Ki control could also have major ramifications for Dragon Ball's characters moving forward. This new information, however, roots the technique deep into Dragon Ball's mythology in a way that fits logically alongside established canon. Previously, Instant Transmission felt like somewhat of an anomaly in the Dragon Ball universe, or arguably even a mere plot device to avoid lengthy scenes of Goku flying past the same 4 trees. While many fans might've already figured that Ki was responsible for Instant Transmission, the technique's origins in " spirit control" are far more interesting, expanding on what was already established about Yardrat and its inhabitants in the original manga, but in a logical way. The most surprising part of the explanation reveals that Instant Transmission is just one of several Ki control techniques, and other potential uses include creating Naruto-style clones of oneself and increasing body size several times over.
